The Terms and Conditions under which Country Escapes in WA Tours operate are detailed below.
Payment of the Tour deposit represents an acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS:
DAY TOURS
To be paid in full at time of booking Day Tour.
OVERNIGHT AND EXTENED TOURS
Deposit:
If the tour is booked within 60 days we require payment in full.
To confirm a tour booking, a deposit of 25% of the advertised tour fare must be paid at the time of making your reservation by credit card on Country Escapes in WA Tours website payment system or by direct bank deposit or by cheque.
If you are paying by cheque Country Escapes in WA Tours will allow 3 working days for the cheque to be received in our office.
The balance of the tour fare is to be paid 60 days prior to the date of departure.
Passengers are asked to notify Country Escapes in WA Tours of any special requirements (for example health or diet) at the time the booking is made.
Country Escapes in WA Tours cannot guarantee that the special requirements will be met in all instances.
Tour Fares:
The tour fares quoted on this website and our printed brochures are per person double twin share. Single supplements are applicable for single travellers requesting single accommodation. Forced singles are also required to pay the single supplement. The tour fares quoted on this website and printed brochures are valid for 2011.
The tour fares quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD$) and include Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Passenger Cancellations:
Country Escapes in WA Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour in the event of minimum numbers, two pax not being reached.
A 25% deposit per person is required to confirm your booking.
Cancellation fees will be levied relative to the amount of notice given and must be received in writing.
Days of Notice
60+ Days fee per person: Loss of Deposit
60 -15 Days fees: 50% of fare
14 - 7 Days fees: 75% of fare
Less than 7 Days fees: 100% of fare
Your travel insurance can cover you for cancellation with certain conditions.
Should the tour have to be cancelled by us, a full refund of all monies will be made.
Travel Insurance:
Country Escapes in WA Tours requires that you take out travel insurance with an appropriate provider for our extended safari tours, offering remote area pick up in the event of emergency, cancellation cover, and personal loss cover for property and delay.
We recommend that you do this at the time of booking to insure your deposit.
Every effort will be made to follow the tour itinerary, but circumstances such as breakdown, road closures, weather effecting road conditions and other weather conditions etc. may require us to amend times and itineraries accordingly, and we are not liable for any costs incurred by clients due to such circumstances and no refunds will be given.
You are obliged to follow instructions given to you by your tour leader in the interests of your safety, and the harmony of the group.
Tour Participation: - HEALTH
Persons taking Country Escapes in WA Tours tours should be in reasonable health and fitness and be carrying all required medications in sufficient quantities, plus extra in case of delays etc.
Country Escapes in WA Tours is not responsible for any medical services that you may require.
You should make us aware of any specific health matters.
The passengers accept that some itineraries include visits to and overnight stays in areas located some distance from hospitals, medical centres or other forms of professional medical facilities.
Passengers accept that tours include participation in activities which may involve certain risks and dangers beyond the control of Country Escapes in WA Tours. Such activities containing risks include but are not limited to, bush walking, swimming, and travelling in remote undeveloped locations.
You must be aware that Country Escapes in WA Tours uses luxury 4WD vehicles. Our tours are soft adventure experience that does involve some travel on gravel roads in remote areas.
A medical clearance from a registered medical practitioner may be required for participants wishing to join some tours.
Our vehicles are 4WD luxury Land Rover Discovery’s getting in and out of the vehicle does require you to be independent of assistance.
Passengers will not be permitted to continue on tours when in the opinion of the Country Escapes in WA Tours tour leader/ driver, the passenger's health or conduct is placing their own health or the safety of other passengers at risk, or is adversely affecting the enjoyment of other passengers; for whatever cause.
Tour Participation - Understanding:
Should Country Escapes in WA Tours deem it desirable for climatic or other reasons whatsoever to amend or vary any itinerary it may do so by shortening or varying the trip we are not liable for any losses so incurred.
Every effort will be made to follow the tour itinerary, but circumstances such as breakdown, road closures, weather effecting road conditions and other weather conditions etc. may require us to amend times and itineraries accordingly, and we are not liable for any costs incurred by clients due to such circumstances and no refunds will be given.
Country Escapes in WA Tours is unable to guarantee exact arrival and departure times, and are not liable for any failure to make connections with any other services. All care has been taken to make sure that information listed is correct.
Prices and Services as shown are however subject to change or withdrawal without notice.
A compulsory vehicle inspection is implemented prior to tour departure.
Luggage Limits:
Please note that luggage on tour is limited to one medium to small sized; soft side bag per person. A small daypack per person is also permitted.
For the comfort of other participants and equipment required on the tour, the Tour Guide/Driver will exercise the right not to accept luggage that does not fit our size requirements.
Please make arrangements with your hotel to safe store your excess luggage in your absence. The luggage is entirely at the passenger's risk during the tour.
Schedule:
The character of Country Escapes in WA Tours tours allows for flexibility in the interest of the group participating.
However there is a time frame in which we operate the tours and so your appreciation of the schedule is required. If the tour falls behind in schedule the tour leader/driver will move onto the next programme.
If the tour leader/driver misses out on any item on the tour itinerary Country Escapes in WA may be required to amend times and itineraries accordingly, and we are not liable for any costs incurred by clients due to such circumstances and no refunds will be given.
Wildlife:
Sighting of birds, kangaroos, emus and other animals, whales, dolphins, seals mentioned in the itineraries cannot be guaranteed as they are wild and therefore free to come and go as they please.
Wildflowers:
The famous fields of everlastings in the regions north of Perth are rain dependent and so the display quality does vary according to the seasonal rains, as with all the wildflowers and orchids throughout the state of Western Australia.
The Queen of Sheba Orchid is a sun orchid and is dependent on warm sunshine periods of up to three hours for it to open up (Late August – early September).
Accommodation:
If Accommodation listed on website, brochures or written itinerary is unavailable on required tour dates similar accommodation of equal quality will be booked for the tour to go ahead.
Alcohol and Cool Drink Beverages:
Alcohol and cool drinks you require with your meals, end of day cocktails or sun downers, water required during the day on tour ARE NOT INCLUDED IN TOUR PRICE AND IS THEREFORE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY FOR.
